Amethyst & Diamond Flower Ring – Photo of the Day

Amethyst and Diamond Flower Ring

The Amethyst and Diamond Flower Ring

Today’s photograph features the Amethyst and diamond flower ring. An ornately cut Amethyst lies at the heart of this enchanting ring design. Measuring 12mm x 10mm, the intense purple Amethyst is Oval cut. The name of this distinctive gemstone from the Quartz family comes from the Greek words “not intoxicated.” The gemstone was used as a preventative measure against drunkenness but is prized in today’s jewellery for its rich purple colouration. Our photograph shows the beautiful ring design from our ready-to-wear collection of dress rings. The ring is a perfect addition for anyone with a love of fine jewellery seeking diamonds and the bold striking purple of Amethyst.

The overall size of this particular design comes out at about 16 x 20mm, set into luxurious 18ct white gold. The petal-like lobes hold grain set brilliant cut diamonds with a diamond carat weight of 0.44cts.
