Choosing an Engagement Ring with Heart Shaped Accents

Engagement ring with heart shoulders

Heart shaped shoulders

Many clients choose Serendipity Diamonds because we create exceptional bespoke jewellery. Heart patterns and details regularly appear in requests for custom made ring designs. We include heart shaped details in a number of ways. Either by engraving, relief or by cut-out detail.

One of our recent engagement ring commissions included a beautiful element in the design. The outline of two heart shapes were designed for the shoulders of a timeless solitaire engagement ring. Between each shoulder, a small, bezel set diamond appears below the main stone, on each side of the ring. Six secure claws surrounded a certified diamond.

Heart shaped claws

The ‘Lila’ engagement ring boasts a delightful styling detail. A small heart shaped bridge strengthens claws whilst enhancing the allure of a simple four claw solitaire ring design.

Heart shaped engraving

Adding an engraving to the inside of any ring works very well. We can laser engrave a hand drawn heart or we can apply a perfectly shaped heart to the inside of most engagement rings and wedding rings.

Heart shaped diamond

Heart shaped diamonds are not for everyone. Some people love the accent from a heart shape without opting for a heart shaped diamond. Choose a heart shaped diamond as the most obvious way to theme your ring with a heart detail.
