Fairtrade Gold for Wedding Rings

Fairtrade gold wedding rings at Serendipity Diamonds

Committed to a better future

Earlier this week, we introduced the option of Fairtrade Gold wedding rings. The new options were introduced as part of a larger initiative to make responsibly sourced, fully traceable materials available for commissions.

This follows our work last year with the introduction of ethically sourced Fairtrade Gold available for many of our engagement rings.

You can now choose either Fairtrade 18ct white gold or Fairtrade 18ct yellow gold for many of our wedding rings. Each ring carries the Fairtade Gold stamp alongside the hallmark.

The significance of Fairtrade Gold wedding rings

Purchasing a wedding ring happens just once for most couples. With great sentiment and emotion, choosing Fairtrade Gold (at no further cost at Serendipity) deepens the meaning by giving poor artisanal miners a better deal for their gold – helping improve working conditions and the lives of their families and communities.
