Diamond and Jewellery Photography

Royalty Free Diamond and Jewellery Photography

Jewellery photography can be a lengthy and difficult skill to learn. It takes many years of practice. Both for taking great jewellery photographs and for editing the photographs. Many people will tell you that it is not necessary to own an expensive camera, but in my own experience, as my own skills evolve, the results improve alongside better camera and studio equipment.

We may have some images that we will provide Royalty Free by special arrangement, so please get in touch at any time to discuss your requirements.

Advantages of Jewellery Photography

One of the main advantages of photographing your jewellery has to be content for social media. Another use includes creating reference material to show people interested in commissioning your work. How can you demonstrate your skills if you have no past work to reference?

If you need some good image photography for your work, contact me and I’ll gladly try to help any way I can.

Example Jewellery Photography on Instagram

One of the best places to find examples of my photography will be Instagram. I routinely share commission photographs here and examples of my work. Please feel free to connect with me there, or email me (mark@serendipitydiamonds.co.uk) directly with any questions.

I recently wrote an article about learning macro-jewellery photography at a basic level, noting some of the equipment needed. Many jewellers lack both the time and equipment to create their own photography which is often outsourced to a specialist. We are in a very good position to help existing jewellery since our own block policy for jewellery insurance covers items in our care. We have access to unlimited resources for both jewellery design, loose diamonds, equipment and gemstones. If the photograph does not appear in our catalogue, we can source the subject and create it.

We can help with Royalty Free photography, so if there is a particular photograph you need, we are happy to converse with you and help. We do allow use of some photographs by arrangement. In return we ask that you credit Serendipity Diamonds with a link back to our website.
