What to expect from a\u00a0Hearts and Arrows ‘ideal’ cut\u00a0diamond<\/h3>\n

A glimpse at your diamond through the Hearts and Arrows Scope will reveal the incredible precision of the diamond cutter. If you’ve ever heard the term “hearts and arrows” and wondered what it means, then the Hearts and Arrows viewer gives a much clearer picture and identifies if a diamond really does carry the ideal proportions that result in the\u00a0“hearts and arrows<\/a>” effect within the diamond.<\/p>\n

The Kaleidoscopic view through the scope of a perfectly cut diamond, creates two distinctive patterns within the diamond. Arrows are seen when the diamond is positioned table facet upwards. Turn the diamond over, with the\u00a0culet\u00a0pointing upwards and you will see heart shapes. When diamonds are cut to perfect or near perfect proportions, they attain a visual symmetry that maximises brilliance. For this reason, diamonds with an excellent cut, polish and symmetry often demand a premium\u00a0over diamonds exhibiting a very good cut grade.<\/p>\n
