CanadaMark melee\u00a0diamonds now available in\u00a0UK<\/h3>\n

This week we introduced some of the first fully traceable melee diamonds<\/strong> into the UK. The first shipment of small CanadaMark 100% ethically sourced melee diamonds arrived this week\u2014available to ethical jewellers within the UK, working with responsibly sourced\u00a0materials.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Until this date, we have only been able to provide larger certified CanadaMark diamonds, certified by GIA<\/a>. From this week, we have polished CanadaMark melee\u00a0diamonds ranging from 0.01cts upwards. Parcels range in colours from D lower colour grades in a range of clarities\u00a0from SI1 – SI2.<\/p>\n

The ethical Melee diamonds are not supplied with the CanadaMark card (larger certified goods only.) Instead, parcels arrive\u00a0with tamper proof seals\u00a0with documentation establishing their supply route as part of the CanadaMark programme.<\/p>\n

The introduction of CanadaMark melee diamonds is a next step in our policy for responsible sourcing. The CanadaMark melee diamond parcels are aimed\u00a0at ethical jewellers within the UK. \u00a0Jewellers who work with small diamonds and Fairtrade Gold will be able to create commissions that are\u00a0100% ethically\u00a0and responsibly sourced. Until now, it has been very difficult to create a fully traceable diamond wedding ring, but our small traceable diamonds now allow this to become a reality.<\/p>\n

The CanadaMark melee diamonds originate from the Ekati Mine in Canada’s Northwest Territories. Diamonds are traceable through the CanadaMark\u00a0system with a proven origin for diamonds back to the mine. CanadaMark melee diamonds are mined with consideration for the environment\u00a0and provide social and economic benefits to communities in areas surrounding the mines.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in purchasing smaller ethical diamonds, we have specially sealed CanadaMark parcels available in limited supply. Smaller diamonds below 0.25 carats do not include a CanadaMark card, but are sealed and 100% fully traceable and available to purchase.
