Graff fancy yellow diamond ring sells for \u00a31.1 million<\/h2>\n

Fellows Auctioneers have broken another house record this week, with the sale of the Graff fancy yellow diamond ring. The ring holds a 43.59 carat fancy intense yellow radiant-cut diamond set between two tapered baguette-cut diamonds, weighing 1.62cts as their combined weight. The diamond went for \u00a31.1 million (\u00a31,306,600 including VAT)\u00a0after feverish bidding for the prized yellow diamond ring.<\/p>\n

This is a milestone achievement for Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter auction house, and for the Jewellery Quarter itself.<\/p>\n

Graff is one of the World’s best-known\u00a0jewelry houses, famous for cutting some of the finest fancy colored diamonds.<\/p>\n
