Leaf-styled engagement rings and bespoke jewellery design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you’re lacking inspiration for a custom-made item of jewellery, look towards nature for some much-needed design inspiration. In fact, plants, trees, and the natural world offer an incredible depth of variety, with textures, motifs, and patterns drawn from them. For example, some of our wedding rings feature wood inlays or bark-textured patterns to blend precious metals with wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many jewellery designers incorporate beautiful elements from nature into their designs for just this reason. And beyond the hills, trees and woods, at other times, we take inspiration from the ocean<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are just a few designs, inspired by nature and crafted with elements taken from the interwoven flora of trees and plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaf Engraved Ribbon-Twist Ring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We created a beautiful bespoke version of our Ribbon-Twist wedding ring. For this commission, the addition of a floral leaf effect by hand engraving transformed the design into a truly elegant, unique wedding ring. We created the ring in 18ct yellow gold, styled to match the client’s engagement ring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Floral Leaf-Engraved Wedding Band<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This particular design originates from our pre-loved, vintage rings collection. The plain band features a floral leaf motif that repeats around the band\u2014a popular style from the mid-20th Century. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open Gold Leaf Ring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Styled with an open leaf design, this beautiful, lightweight ring again comes from a lucky find added to our pre-owned jewellery collections. The style can be remade in a variety of metals through our bespoke ring design service for anyone captivated by the design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teal Sapphire and Diamond Vine-Inspired Engagement Ring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our next example took inspiration from the vine detail of the plant world. The recent bespoke engagement ring featured a dazzling F-colour, VVS clarity, ideal-cut natural diamond<\/a>. Surrounded by four simple claws, the diamond sparkled above graduating sizes of teal-coloured sapphires set into leaf details in each shoulder. We created the ring in 950 Platinum, working closely with our client to create their perfect engagement ring design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our next example shows the dramatic effect of adding green-coloured diamonds into a bespoke engagement ring design. This beautiful ring was crafted for a client in the USA, styled with nature in mind. The proposal took place in the marshes of South Carolina. At the heart of this adorable ring, a central Canadamark marquise diamond rests between a combination of leaf-effect green lab-grown diamonds<\/a> and round brilliant cut diamonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nature in a Gemstone – Moss Agate Engagement Rings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Moss Agate might be the answer<\/a> if you’re looking for a captivating, inexpensive and natural-looking gemstone<\/span>. In fact, this unique and appealing semi-precious gem features strands of green that resemble fern-like filaments and foliage. In this example, we selected a cabochon-cut variation of Moss Agate designed and set between ethical lab-grown diamonds in warm Rose Gold. The ring included a matching wishbone-shaped wedding ring also set with lab-grown diamonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the modern approach of laser-engraving wedding rings, we occasionally create hand-engraved wedding rings. The traditional art of hand-engraving adds an artisanal touch to Gold or Platinum, perfect for leaves, vines, branches and other natural patterns. In this example, we created a pair of leaf-engraved wedding rings to match.
