A Buyer’s Guide to Brushed Matte and Satin Finish Wedding Bands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Matte finish wedding rings provide a satin diffused sheen in contrast to the mirror-polished shiny look of traditional wedding bands. The finish of a ring changes the appearance of the surface of a precious metal ring<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This popular finish costs very little to apply and is available across our full collection of regular and customised wedding ring designs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that we don’t consider any item with this finish a bespoke ring. We create all ring sizes in almost every desired finish available to jewellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satin finish rings on the hand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our photograph below shows a 5mm wide Osborne wedding ring design with an optional Matte finish worn on the hand. Sam chose 950 Palladium for his ring for its whiteness and lightness. However, this metal choice is a less popular choice on account of the soaring cost of Palladium in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notice how the ring creates far less reflection than the traditional shiny polished finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Custom-finished wedding bands with engravings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When customizing a matte-finish wedding ring with engravings, we recommend applying them within the ring. Engravings work beautifully on a mirrored surface with a plain brushed finish outer surface. Satin Fingerprint Rings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Brush-Patterned Wedding Rings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some wedding bands combine a brushed finish with a pattern to create a unique decorative effect. The following example comes from our patterned rings, each section brushed with a matte effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matte and Polished Rune Wedding Bands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Both feature a matte satin centre section with polished edges for added contrast. We apply custom runes translated from a client’s wording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
