In 2007 when Serendipity Diamonds first went online we created 2 services – both running alongside each other.
The first service created made-to-order engagement rings – complete rings, fully personalised around the diamond and precious metal.
The second service provided the ring mount or setting for clients who already had diamonds.
We developed this service (for both retail and private clients). We purchased existing ring mounts at face-value (this off-sets the cost against the new ring). Some clients decide to arrange the setting and finishing elsewhere. Other clients preferred the complete process to be carried out at SD.
By providing a very simple process, buyers can arrange to get their diamond ring reset into a new design with expert guidance through the process.
Both services continue to grow and evolve and we are always happy to oblige with work and guidance for those who seek our services.
We now offer a full valuation on the completed re-set ring, which remains optional at a very small additional cost – recommended if you are considering insurance for the new ring.
