Citrine, Aquamarine and Diamond Cocktail Ring
The bespoke citrine, aquamarine, and Diamond ring evolved from meetings with our local client during visits to the Serendipity Diamonds showroom. At its centre, the 12.5 carat emerald-cut citrine, chosen for both its warm golden colour and its relevance as our client’s own birthstone. This was paired with aquamarines selected to reflect her granddaughter’s birthstone, allowing the design to carry a deeply personal meaning alongside its visual presence. The composition naturally evolved into a balanced trilogy arrangement, with squared shoulder stones chosen to complement the citrine’s clean lines and cut corners. Subtle Art Deco influences guide the ring's structure, while carefully shaped squared claws echo the geometry of the central gemstone, bringing cohesion and quiet confidence to the overall design.
Further detail is revealed in the execution of the shoulder settings, where fine milgrain edging has been applied to soften the crisp platinum framework and introduce a touch of traditional craftsmanship. The squared aquamarines and diamond-set shoulders harmonise with the angular form of the central citrine, creating a sense of continuity throughout the design. Crafted from 950 platinum, the ring offers reassuring weight and lasting durability, while its carefully balanced proportions ensure the piece feels elegant and wearable despite its statement scale.
