Fingerprint cufflinks – the perfect gift for a groom
This last week saw the introduction of a series of personalised fingerprint cufflinks to the SD website.
Nothing completes the look of a double cuff better than a finely crafted cufflink. Double cuffs (or French Cuffs as they are sometimes known) folded back, are best secured with cufflinks passing through the cuff.
Each pair within our new range feature a combination of both satin and mirror polished surfaces. Suitable for everyday wear and special occasions, they look the part with a city suit or dinner jacket.

The Subtle Art of Selecting Cufflinks
There is a subtle art to selecting a pair of cufflinks – whether for a gift or personal purchase. Cufflinks should be prominent – simple and sophisticated without being too showy. Aim for a simple design, polished or satin finished. If you opt for detail, make sure the detail is consistent across the design. Men’s clothing stores are awash with mass-produced resin and stainless steel designs – many of these novelty cufflinks unsuitable for formal or smart business wear.
Functional and Decorative
A dress watch and pair of fingerprint cufflinks are both decorative and functional at the same time, making them key components to men’s styling when it comes to formal or business attire.
Creating the Fingerprint
If you decide upon the fingerprint cufflinks, the personalised aspect is very simple to organise. We send out a fingerprint kit when we receive an order. The process works in a very similar way to our fingerprint wedding rings as outlined in our previous post. Create a print and send it back to us. We then use this to laser the fingerprint onto the finished cufflinks.
Build and Cufflink Style
Each cufflink style has been created in the stud or button cufflink style. A solid head adjoins the post in a single piece, with a smaller interior head pushing through the double cuff. Substantially crafted from solid Titanium, there is a noticeable feel of quality and durability to each different design.
Please feel free to browse the full cufflink range online, or contact us for further help. In addition to fingerprint cufflinks, we can further personalise cufflink designs, add corporate or club motifs / logos and create designs in precious metal variations to order.
