Introducing Pink Tourmaline engagement rings
Last week, we introduced a further gemstone addition to our coloured gemstone engagement rings at Serendipity Diamonds. Crafted with a Pink Tourmaline, the Ava ring design features a four claw setting with a very simple design.
What is Pink Tourmaline?
Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral containing other elements including aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium. Tourmaline is actually a semi-precious gemstone, available in many colours. Tourmaline’s name comes from the Sinhalese word “Thoramalli” applied to a group of gemstones found in Sri Lanka.

Pink Tourmaline is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an engagement ring on a budget. Less expensive than Ruby, Pink Tourmalines are more affordable. They give a vibrant burst of colour in a faceted gemstone suitable for most types of jewellery. In addition, Tourmaline comes in many shapes and sizes.
