Vintage Ruby and Diamond Ring
This incredible vintage ruby and diamond ring design was handcrafted through our bespoke ring design service. The ring style was inspired from a vintage ring design with a combination of both rubies and diamonds. Despite nuances of vintage styling, the bespoke ring was CAD designed, working from the measurements of a beautiful deep red set of matching oval rubies. A total of 13 oval-cut deep red rubies alternated with G colour VS clarity princess cut diamonds with a combined carat weight of 3.25-carats.
With a width of 10mm across the face of the ring, narrowing to 6.5mm behind the finger the ring provided a substantial eye-catching ring design with a luxurious feel—certain to capture attention.
On either side of the ring design, wavy edges undulate to embrace the larger oval rubies, converging on the smaller princess cuts with a sympathetic design balancing both beauty and luxury in an incredible eye-catching design.
Rubies represent the birthstone for July and make a popular alternative to diamonds at any other time. Moreover, their deep red colour provides contrast especially when paired with bright-white diamonds.
At other times, this precious gemstone serves as a popular gift for a Ruby Anniversary after 40 years of marriage.
