Bespoke Shaped Wedding Bands
Our bespoke shaped ring service provides a perfectly tailored solution to create any wedding ring contoured to your engagement ring. Our expert help works with all rings. These include rings purchased from other jewellers. Or, we provide this service for rings purchased from Serendipity. The designs above show a selection of our bespoke work, created over the past few years. Some rings are created together at the same time. Other rings are made to fit at a later date closer to the wedding.
When should you commission your shaped band?
We advise leaving it no later than 2-3 months before the wedding day. Keep in mind a timescale of 5-6 weeks for most shaped wedding band commissions. In addition, we suggest allowing additional time in case ring sizes require an adjustment. Another important factor we advise on relates to precious metal prices. From one year to the next, precious metal prices rise. As a result, a wedding ring ordered one year later costs more. For this reason, many couples buy their bespoke wedding rings the previous year to save money.
How much does a bespoke fitted band cost?
A bespoke fitted band costs more than an off-the-shelf shaped ring. The cost of a ring depends on my factors including the choice of precious metal, optional diamonds or gemstones and overall weight and complexity of the design. As a rough guide, prices start from £700 - £800 based on 9ct Gold bespoke wedding rings created through our bespoke design service.
Do you need the engagement ring to work from?
We always require your engagement ring to be sent to us, or dropped into our showroom unless we have your original CAD ring designs on file. When we hold a CAD engagement ring design on file, we use this as the template for the wedding band. This works very well for clients living overseas who struggle to send their ring overseas for us to work from.
Will my engagement ring look dull by comparison to the new ring?
Your completed wedding ring will always look shinier than your existing engagement ring. For this reason, we provide a free clean and re-finish for your engagement ring as part of our service. This ensures both rings arrive back in pristine as-new condition ready for your wedding day.
