The Gold Footprint Necklace – New!
Last week, we introduced the Gold Footprint Necklace—brand new to our range. Following our popular fingerprint range of jewellery we launched a growing collection of footprint engraved pendants. The design shown above and below features a solid ingot style pendant, crafted in luxurious 9ct Yellow Gold.
Applying the Footprint Engraving
We laser engrave any submitted foot or handprint in miniature form. We reduce each print in size before applying the artwork to the pendant. This example shows two footprints applied to a rectangular 9ct Yellow Gold pendant. The finished design receives a mirror polish as part of the final work. The same effect is possible for both fingerprints and handprints. The result is an incredibly beautiful and personalised item of jewellery. Much of our work to date involves full customisation.
Why add Footprints to Jewellery?
Most would appreciate that a child’s footprint is hugely sentimental. Many parents capture a babies hand or footprint in Plaster of Paris. This new technique advances a popular tradition. The result is intrinsically and sentimentally valuable and wearable at the same time.
