Do Eternity Rings have Diamond Certificates? Buying a Certified Eternity Ring

Do eternity rings include a diamond grading report?

Most diamond purchases include a diamond certificate. Diamond certificates are sometimes referred to as diamond grading reports. They generally accompany an item of diamond jewellery—giving information about the diamond. This information will include the weight, colour and clarity of the diamonds.

Most diamonds above 0.25cts, achieving a good colour and clarity grade usually go to a laboratory once cut and polished. Here they are assessed in a laboratory and a certificate is created to authenticate details of the diamond.

The cost of a diamond certificate in relation to the diamond price is far higher for a smaller diamond. Furthermore, an item of diamond jewellery may contain many small diamonds. Creating a report for each tiny diamond, simply would not be cost-effective. As a result, the item would be very expensive. Diamond eternity rings fall into this category of jewellery.

Certified eternity rings

Upon request, we can provide a certified diamond eternity ring. We refer to this type of certificate as a ‘blanket certificate‘ grading a set of diamonds as a whole. In contrast, diamond certificates generally refer to just one diamond. You will normally see two close whiteness grades and two close clarity grades noted. Within a set of diamonds, there tends to be a slight variation in diamond colour and clarity across the diamond set.

How to order a certified diamond eternity ring

It is very easy to order a certified diamond eternity ring. If you would like a certificate for your eternity ring, just request this at the time of ordering. We are happy to provide this at no further cost to your diamond eternity ring. Following your order confirmation, just email us in response and request the diamond report. This will arrive with your completed eternity ring, along with a detailed valuation for insurance purposes.

Will my diamond certificate add to the time of my order?

Absolutely not. We will work to the same 4-week time-frame for your completed eternity ring, inclusive of the certification process for your eternity ring.
