Since a smaller proportion of the population has very large finger sizes, fewer retailers will cater for sizing and for providing large wedding rings. The following are some of the considerations to keep in mind in such an instance.
Do large-size wedding rings cost much more?
Cost is one of the greatest implications for large wedding rings for men. Alone, the cost of wedding rings would not necessarily be an issue. Together with the many other wedding costs, the rings are an expensive item for budgeting for the big day. Since wedding ring weight determines cost, a Z+ size of wedding ring will be heavier and more expensive.
Suggestion: If you are favouring Platinum, but the large finger size is making the ring far too expensive, consider a lighter option that will look the same, such as 9-carat white gold
How wide should your plus-size wedding ring measure?
Keep in mind that large wedding rings for men in very big finger sizes will be better proportioned in greater widths. What style to order for your extra large wedding ring
Larger finger sizes suit simpler designs. A plain band is often the best option, but additional detail such as a simple sectioned design, plain lines, or a very simple pattern will also work well. The above images show a bevelled effect with a polished finish across the exterior surface.
Best thicknesses for very big wedding ring sizes
For very large wedding rings, we tend to recommend at least a medium weight to stay in keeping with the size of the ring. Heavyweight rings also work well. Light, medium and heavy versions exist for most styles of the wedding ring (eg. flat court profile.)

The largest men’s finger size we have created is size Z+8, which equates to eight sizes larger than size Z. Theoretically, sizes can go larger, but realistically, few men have fingers larger than this size.
We can create any width for a wedding ring, but 10mm tends to be the widest band for most men. Beyond 10mm, the band becomes uncomfortable to wear.
