Explaining the Low Dome Wedding Ring
The low dome wedding ring is an alternative name to the standard D-shaped wedding ring style sold by most jewellers. Curved on the outer face, the low-dome wedding band features a flat inner surface. The outer face of the band is always convex and is suitable in different widths for men and women. In addition, the D-shaped wedding ring can be diamond set, engraved and patterned, mirror-polished or brushed satin finished.
The low dome wedding ring is a medium-weight wedding band offering a soft rounded appearance and value to money compared to heavier weight wedding rings.

For every D shaped wedding ring style, there are 3 main variants. For example, we offer a light, medium and heavy-weight D shaped wedding ring. The light-weight version is least expensive, the medium-weight most popular and the heavy-weight more robust.

We will clarify whether the design relates to a light, medium or heavy weight D shaped band. This approach reduces confusion over specific terms relating to ring weight.

One of our most popular wedding rings—an alternative to the Low Dome or D-Shape is the Slight Court Wedding Ring. We call this the Osborne wedding ring and this design is our best selling wedding ring by far. It features a curved inner comfort fit with a very slightly curved outer surface. In addition, the edges are polished allowing the ring to glide onto the finger.
