Court Wedding Rings – Ultimate Style Guide

Court wedding ring styles

A buyer’s guide to court wedding bands for men and women

Court wedding rings describe a style of wedding band with a curved outer surface and curved inner comfort fit. This comfortable ring style represents one of the most popular styles purchased by couples, in an assortment of styles, widths, metals and finger sizes. In addition, variations exist in the thickness of the band with light, medium and heavyweight options.

Whether you choose White Gold, Yellow Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum, this popular design comes in all precious metals—even Fairtrade Gold, perfect for ethical consumers.

What is a Court Profile?

As we have already touched upon, the court style features a curved cross-section, both on the inside and outside.

Some styles feature more curvature, while other styles give a more modern profile with subtle curves. Further styles feature rounded edges while other variations include flatter edges.

The Traditional Court Profile

More information

The traditional court style remains our most popular wedding band. As noted above, the fit is comfortable, with a curve to the outer surface. This is less pronounced than a D-shaped wedding ring, but provides a softer look than the bolder look of the totally flat profile wedding bands. Edges are usually slightly sharper than the slight court (below.)

Slight Court Wedding Ring

More information

The Slight Court wedding ring features an outer surface that is not completely flat, but the curve is much more gentle than the traditional court. The surface is flatter, the edges appear more rounded, an excellent and softer alternative to the flat profile of wedding ring.

We create this popular design in all finger sizes. Moreover, the design represents our best-selling band for men, most popular in a 5mm ring width. Overall, the subtle design provides a modern variation on the traditional court.

More information

Designs with a flat side wall can be handy when the engagement ring band features this. A small and subtle detail like this can mean a perfect match, as opposed to a close match. The depth of the ring rivals this as an equally important consideration when matching the wedding ring to the engagement ring.

Flat Court Wedding Ring

Flat court wedding rings such as RWD004 feature a flat outer face and a rolled comfort fit inner surface. We have covered almost all you need to know on flat-court wedding rings within one of our earlier posts.
