Marquise and Round Diamond Shaped Wedding Ring
We created this incredible Marquise and round diamond shaped wedding ring for our returning client. The commission was intended to sit alongside their bespoke Marquise engagement ring created recently and set with 100% ethical diamonds. The original ring featured a Canadamark Marquise cut diamond, with green lab-grown diamonds in a beautiful design in yellow gold. Our client requested a complimentary wedding ring styled to fit alongside the engagement ring, and designed to appear as a perfect pair of rings.
The wedding ring was styled in a wishbone shape, set with 0.40 carats of ethical lab-grown diamonds. An interesting aspect of this commission involved creating a wax model of the original engagement ring from CAD designs. This formed a physical model. Using the CAD design and wax, we were able to create the shaped wedding ring without the original engagement ring. The necessity was due to the location of our client in the USA.
The commission took approximately 5 weeks in timescale and once completed, photographs were taken for our portfolio of shaped designs ahead of us sending the ring by secure courier to our client overseas.
