A bespoke Opal, Diamond and Aquamarine necklace created in 18ct yellow gold, re-modelled from an existing opal ring design to create a unique cluster necklace with a feature cabochon opal at the heart of the design. In addition to round-cut Aquamarines, 1.32cts of diamonds alternate in an attractive halo of sparkling gemstones.

Bespoke Opal Diamond and Aquamarine Necklace
We created an amazing bespoke necklace design for one of our local clients based living on the Isle of Wight. The Opal, Diamond and Aquamarine necklace was individually crafted as part of a re-modelled jewellery design.
Within our client's jewellery collection, a seldom worn Opal ring provided the inspiration for this unique jewellery commission.
Sparkling with iridescent beauty, the white Opal, with a cabochon cut, measured approximately 22mm x 19mm in size. By varying the angle and position of the opal, colours varied from reds through to blues and greens with incredible beauty.
The Opal was originally set into an antique gemstone ring, held within a bezel of yellow gold. Unworn and unsuited to our client, she chose to give the Opal a brand new lease-of-life, commissioning Serendipity to create an Opal, diamond and Aquamarine cluster necklace.
Re-modelled from an Opal ring to an Opal necklace
We removed the Opal from the original ring and created a CAD design of the proposed necklace based on our client's preferences. The necklace featured a halo of 11 x 3mm round diamonds, alternating with 12 x 3mm Aquamarine gemstones to surround the oval Opal. The breathtaking necklace design was completed in approximately 5 weeks and collected from our Ryde showroom by our client.
