Raindance Rings and the Evolution of Diamond Bubble Rings
The Raindance ring has gained popularity and has been a very popular design introduced by Boodle and Dunthorne (aka Boodles) founded in 1798. There is an example of this design in the V & A Museum.
It must be remembered that all copyright to the Raindance ring and the design belongs exclusively to Boodles. Similar designs merely take inspiration from this contemporary design classic.

What are diamond bubble rings?
Diamond bubble rings feature a finely crafted arrangement of bezel set diamonds across multiple bands, in similar designs.

Arrangements of varying sizes of round diamond define the diamond bubble ring. The first designs featured an interwoven arrangement of different diamond sizes in full bezel settings. These appeared across three bands, merging into a single band behind the finger. Many variations are possible by mixing different sizes of diamonds. Two diamond bubble rings of the same carat weight often contain different diamond sizes.

The new Vanderbilt design deviates from the multi-row Raindance styled rings. This all-new bubble ring features a dazzling row of 1-carat total diamond weight, arranged beautifully across the band.

We create most diamond bubble rings in three parts. We finish each section before adjoining them to arrive at the final fused ring. This process allows each bezel to be highly polished.
We craft diamond bubble rings in a full choice of precious metals including 18ct White Gold, Yellow Gold, Rose Gold and 950 Platinum.

Custom Made Diamond Bubble Rings
We create custom made diamond bubble rings, styled individually for any client. For example, the design above featured clustered arrangements of small diamonds. In addition, 2 larger diamonds provided by our client were matched to a diamond. As a result, we created a matching set of diamonds for this particular commission.
Our bespoke diamond bubble rings take weeks of work to create. From design work by CAD, image production and model making. Final stages see the ring evolve through mounting, setting and finishing.
For further information on how we can help with your individual commission, please email us including as much information as possible for your required design, or call us to talk things through.
The following designs are all based on a similar feel to the Raindance style of ring with distinctive multiple band styling with variable diamond sizes.
