A flower represents each birth month in the same concept, similar to the birthstone. Some flowers differ in different charts, and some have more than one flower due to this, we have put together one version of the chart that includes all the different types of flowers. The following is a selection of monthly birth flowers.
January – Carnation Or Snowdrop
January features two birth flowers, the Carnation and the Snowdrop. Starting with the Carnation, thought to symbolise Love, Devotion, Distinction and Fascination. Interestingly, carnations are also the official first wedding anniversary flower!

This month flower for February is Violet, Iris or Primrose. All purple varietys and featuring similar symbolism.
Violet – Honesty, Protection, Dreams, Healing, Remembrance, and Determination. Iris – Wisdom, Hope, Trust, and Valor. Primrose – Protection, Safety, and Love.

March – Daffodil

July – Larkspur, Tulip or Water Lily
To begin with, for this birth month it features three different flowers the July birth flowers are as follows. Firstly, the Larkspur symbolises the strong bond of love. Known as a protective plant to repel venomous snakes and cure scorpion stings.
Secondly, the Tulip symbolises deep love, rebirth, and charity. Interestingly the tulip has been a symbol of charity dating back to the Victorian era. Moreover, it remains a symbol for some charities today. Finally, the water Lilly symbolises peace and tranquillity.
July Birthstone – Ruby. Known as a beautiful red gemstone symbolic of passion and energy. It is said to bring success, and wealth and bestow good fortune on the wearer. Ruby not only marks a July birthday, but Ruby also represents the gemstone of choice for a 40th wedding anniversary.
August -Gladiolus or Poppy
To begin, the August birth flower has two varieties. Firstly, the Gladiolus symbolises the strength of character, Remembrance, Faithfulness and Moral Integrity. In addition, the Gladiolus is also the 40th anniversary flower due to symbolising infatuation, and most importantly remembrance. Secondly, the Poppy symbolising Strength of character, Honesty and Generosity.
August Birthstone – Peridot. This beautiful gemstone boasts a distinctive mossy-green colouration. Cut into most sizes and shapes.
September – Aster or Morning Glory
To begin with, the Aster is thought to have originated in Greek mythology. Its name comes from the Greek word for ‘star.’ It symbolises Love, Wisdom, Faith, and also colour. October – Marigold or Cosmos
Firstly, due to the bright and fiery coloured of the Marigold, it symbolises Power, Strength and Light. Secondly, the cosmos symbolises Order and Harmony. In addition, the cosmos represent balance, tranquillity peace and love.
October Birthstone – Opal. Subtle in beauty, diverse in colour and perfect for October birthdays and anniversaries.
November – Chrysanthemum
In Greek mythology, the Chrysanthemum is thought to protect against evil spirits. This is why they are often used at gravesides and if they are taken from a graveyard then the picker will suffer headaches and nightmares. Modernly they symbolise Happiness, Love, Longevity, and Joy.
November Birthstone – Citrine and Topaz. Citrine bursts with positivity. This incredible gemstones combats negative energy and promotes success and good fortune.
