Vintage Nine-Stone Diamond Half Eternity Ring
A timeless expression of elegance, this beautiful vintage diamond eternity ring features nine individually set natural diamonds, arranged across the upper half of a polished 18ct yellow gold band.
The distinctive setting features a series of gently undulating gold curves, creating a flowing scalloped design that follows the line of the diamonds. Unlike a conventional straight channel setting, the shaped gold sections introduce movement and character, beautifully complementing the sparkle of each stone.
The nine round brilliant-cut diamonds measure approximately 2.5mm each, with an estimated combined diamond weight of 0.50 carats. Graded H colour and SI1 clarity, they offer attractive brilliance against the rich yellow gold setting.
Birmingham Hallmark Dating to 1989
Inside the ring, the original hallmark provides an interesting connection to its history. The marks include the CJ sponsor's stamp, the Birmingham Assay Office symbol and a date letter 'P', corresponding to 1989.
This late twentieth-century ring reflects a period when decorative diamond settings and flowing gold designs were especially popular, offering a distinctive alternative to contemporary eternity rings.
