This ornate diamond and ruby bubble ring was bespoke remodelled in platinum for a locally based client, re-imagining a much-loved original design with greater refinement and longevity. The client’s own rubies were carefully re-set into the new ring, with two additional diamonds introduced to complete the flowing, bubble-inspired arrangement. Decorative yet balanced, the design retains its original character while benefiting from the strength, brightness, and permanence of platinum.

Ornate Diamond and Ruby Bubble Ring
As part of this incredible jewellery remodelling commission, our brief focused on preserving the distinctive, ornate feel of the original ring while improving structure, symmetry, and wearability. Within the design, clustered diamonds and vibrant red rubies scattered within polished bezel settings. Ruby remains one of the most precious gemstones prized for its deep crimson hues.
Each ruby was individually assessed and repositioned within a sculptural platinum framework, allowing the stones to sit naturally while enhancing light and movement across the surface of the ring. The addition of two diamonds (missing from the original ring) brought harmony to the overall composition, subtly elevating the design without altering its recognisable identity. Created through close collaboration with our locally based client, the finished piece is a thoughtful evolution rather than a replacement — a refined platinum interpretation of a ring with personal history and meaning.
