Please note that our lab-grown diamond engagement rings are identical in appearance and quality to our natural diamond options with a difference in cost working out to between 50% - 75% less than our natural diamond equivalent rings. Our lab-grown diamonds are typically available in higher colour clarity and cut grades and include full certification as shown below.

What is Moissanite?

Moissanite was first discovered by French chemist Henri Moissan in 1893, while he was studying rock samples from a meteorite crater in Arizona. Moissanite is composed of silicon carbide, a mineral that is naturally found in meteorites, as well as in some rare mineral deposits on earth. It is extremely rare to find moissanite in its natural form on earth, but scientists have been able to replicate the mineral in a laboratory setting since the early 1990s.
