This distinguished vintage Lapis Lazuli signet ring is a striking example of mid-20th-century British goldsmithing. Crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold, the ring is fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office, bearing the ACCO sponsor’s mark alongside the 1953 date letter “S”, confirming its period and authenticity.
Set at the centre is a bold rectangular Lapis Lazuli panel, celebrated for its deep royal-blue colouring. The gemstone is framed within a finely detailed gold mount, with fluted shoulders that narrow elegantly from approximately 10.5mm across the face to 2.5mm at the base of the shank, creating a balanced yet confident profile.
