Payment Information UK
Are my card details secure? Yes they are. Some specific reassurances:
We (Blue River Diamonds Ltd) never see any of the card details that you provide. These pass directly from your screen to Stripe.
All communications between your screen and our servers and those that Stripe operates are securely encrypted (using the industry standard “https” protocol). Even if you are on an insecure network an eavesdropper will not be able to extract any information from any communications that they manage to get access to.
Stripe is a billion dollar business and has been audited as PCI service provider level 1 compliant – the highest level of security clearance that is attainable in the card processing industry.
Payment and Delivery
Please note that we will only deliver to the payment address. If you require delivery to a third party address, we will request payment via bank transfer. All of our reassurances remain in place, but this system protects us from card fraud and consequential charge backs.
All online payments are secure and encrypted. We do not hold card payment details on file at any time. For your card security payments by phone are processed in person when you call. If you pay by deposit, we will only require the final balance on completion of work, and only prior to delivery. Since many of our rings take at least 1-2 weeks to produce (sometimes longer), we are happy to work flexibly to suit your needs. To begin work, we usually ask for a 10% deposit payable by credit or debit card by phone. We are then happy to take the balance upon completion of your ring.
