Bespoke East-West Marquise Diamond Ring
This exquisite diamond solitaire engagement ring takes inspiration from the Atlantis East-West oriented engagement ring. We created the bespoke commission for one of our lovely returning clients who visited our Ryde showroom on the Isle of Wight. The bespoke design provided a secure setting for a Marquise-cut diamond arranged across the finger, oriented East-to-West. The elongated V-claws provided additional security for the diamond, with an open section mid-way to allow light through the diamond, raised above the setting. To compliment the setting, our client chose a slight-court profile band with a 3mm width, and 1.5mm depth for the perfect comfort fit.
As part of our bespoke jewellery design service, we sent detailed CAD designs to our client before creating the ring over a timescale of around 5 weeks. As part of our service, we made suggestions for the diamond based on desirable length to width ratios, before our client decided on the chosen diamond. The 950 Platinum ring design featured a natural, GIA certified Marquise-cut diamond, 0.51cts in weight, graded E colour and SI1 clarity for exceptional whiteness and eye-clean sparkle.
