Black Kite Diamond Ring

Created by bespoke design, this black kite diamond ring featured a unique kite-shaped diamond in a rare black galaxy variety of natural diamond, edged by a matching set of pear-shaped and round brilliant-cut diamonds with a total carat weight of approximately 1.70-carats.

Black Kite Shaped Diamond Ring

We created the black kite diamond ring as a custom-made ring design for our client. Our team of experts created the ring by CAD design to combine a unique combination of diamonds.


To begin with, we sourced a natural 1.36-carat black kite-shaped diamond. This salt-and-pepper diamond falls under the category of diamonds we call "Galaxy diamonds." Starry inclusions feature within a cosmic black stone. We describe the shape as a kite cut. 

This step-faceted fancy-shaped diamond strays far from the traditional varieties of diamonds. Moreover, few jewellers source such unique diamonds for their clients. But, as part of our bespoke design service, we source all types of diamonds and coloured gemstones.


This latest design follows other unique black diamond ring designs created at Serendipity. Other styles made include the crown-shaped galaxy diamond ring.

The unique combination of diamond shapes ensured a unique ring design. Using CAD modelling, our team designed the ring for precise diamond sizes.


Throughout the process, our client visited our Ryde showroom for guidance. Once completed, our client collected the ring in preparation for a surprise proposal.
