Pear Blue Sapphire and Marquise Diamond Ring

Pear-shaped Blue Sapphire and Marquise cut diamond engagement ring, handcrafted in 950 Platinum as part of a bespoke ring design commission. The ring featured a natural blue Sapphire, 0.50 carats, measuring 6 x 4mm in combination with a matching pair of 3 x 1.5mm diamonds.

Pear Blue Sapphire & Marquise Diamond Ring

We created the pear-shaped Blue Sapphire and Marquise diamond ring as part of a bespoke ring commission. For the ring design, our client chose a natural intense pear-cut Blue Sapphire for the centrepiece of this elegant ring design. In contrast to the Sapphire, the design also featured two small Marquise-cut diamonds measuring 3 x 1.5mm in length and width. The entire ring was handcrafted in 950 Platinum and CAD designed around the gemstones to ensure the perfect fit for both the Sapphire and diamonds. 

As part of our design process, we provided our client with detailed CAD designs before making the ring. This ensured our client appreciated the design along with the correct proportions based on the different gemstone sizes. The commission took approximately 5 weeks to create, but we recommend allowing a little longer for initial conversations and the time necessary to handcraft the final ring.
