Vintage Blue Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring
We handcrafted the exquisite vintage blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring to capture the incredible combination of blue sapphire against warm 18-carat yellow gold—in contrast with sparkling white diamonds. At the heart of the ring design, the deep blue sapphire provided an incredible depth of colour.
Encircling the sapphire, a scalloped halo sparkled with 0.11cts of 100% ethical Canadamark diamonds, sourced from the Ekati and Diavik mines of Canada's Northwest Territories. Each diamond was graded G colour and SI clarity before being grain-set into the halo.
Styled in a vintage engagement ring design, a slender comfort-fit band narrowed towards the setting to complete the design. The overall gemstone weight of 1.08 carats included the 6mm 0.97 carats natural blue sapphire held within a four-claw setting.
