Octopus Diamond Engagement Ring
The Octopus diamond engagement ring stands out with originality and unique styling—inspired by the Ocean and the legendary writing of Jules Verne. We created this two-ring set for our local client, crafting both rings in 950 Platinum. Our brief involved creating a matching Octopus diamond ring and wedding ring as a combined set working with our client's existing diamonds. As part of our bespoke service, we created designs based on an Octopus theme following a consultation in person.
Working closely with our client, we provided detailed CAD images and modified the details until the clients were totally happy before work began. Taking around 5-6 weeks, the Octopus rings (or Kraken rings), as we referred to them, were cast and worked in 950 Platinum ahead of setting the diamonds.
For the shaped wedding ring, the design features the classic infundibulum and acetabulum raised sections—some of which sparkle with round brilliant-cut diamonds, giving an authentic appearance of this loved maritime creature.
