Tiffany Style Ring with Flush Diamond Shoulders
For this beautiful ring commission, we created a Platinum Tiffany-style setting with stepped shoulders, into which a trio of round brilliant-cut diamonds sparkled in flush settings for added sparkle. For ease of wear, the ring was further customised for our client with small Platinum pips inserted into the ring to improve the fit of the design. At the heart of the ring, an ethical lab-grown diamond measuring 6mm in size rests within a six-claw Tiffany style crown setting.

With an additional 0.34 carats of small micro-pavé diamonds across the shoulders, you can opt for one of many diamond sizes, colours and clarity grades available in addition to the additional diamond weight. The ring design is simple yet radiates fire and scintillation from the domed, diamond encrusted shoulders. Typically this ring takes around 4-5 weeks to completed, being beautifully presented as shown in our images below. We craft all rings within our UK workshop—individually handcrafted with incredible attention to detail. We hand match every set of diamonds or gemstones to ensure consistency of size, colour and cut.

Styles of diamond shoulder setting.


Diamond shoulder setting styles vary enormously. Our most popular styles feature channel set shoulders, set with either round diamonds or princess cut diamonds. Princess cut diamonds lie edge-to-edge without gaps. Channel settings neither snag nor catch clothing and provide a neat and effective setting style for various gemstone shoulders. 

In addition to all-diamond shoulders, we mix and match gemstones with amazing results. For example, the Coral engagement ring mixes pink sapphires and diamonds in the shoulders of the ring. 

Other setting styles include grain set shoulders, micro-pave diamond shoulders and claw set shoulder stones with various effects. Additional detail includes milgrain edges seen in the Fern engagement ring. Milgrain creates a vintage feel to any jewellery item, mimicking the effect of antique lace and fabric.
