9ct Yellow Gold Opal & Ruby Gypsy Ring
This traditional three-stone design reflects the enduring appeal of late 20th-century British jewellery, drawing subtle influence from the Gypsy ring aesthetic — where gemstones sit confidently within a sculpted gold setting, creating a smooth and wearable profile.
At its centre rests a 3.5mm round cabochon opal, displaying delicate flashes of green and pink fire. On either side, two 2.5mm round rubies provide rich contrast and warmth against the polished 9ct yellow gold mount. Decorative scroll detail across the shoulders adds texture and vintage character without overpowering the clean silhouette of the band.
The ring carries a full Birmingham Assay Office hallmark, along with a 1985 “P” date letter and PRJ sponsor mark, confirming its authenticity and provenance.
